Avtar Partners with Google for the 3rd Consecutive Year
Continuing the partnership between Google, Avtar and ISB, DigiPivot, the
free skill development initiative, is aimed at creating women leaders in
digital marketing
For the third consecutive year, Avtar Group, India’s pioneers in
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Solutions has partnered with Google India and
India’s premier business school - Centre for Executive Education at Indian
School of business (ISB) to roll out the third edition of DigiPivot, a curated
skilling program in digital marketing, exclusively for women.
This year a total of 120
women are expected to benefit from the training – a three times increase
compared to the launch edition in 2020 – and incorporates curriculum
enhancements to align with job market expectations. This year DigiPivot brings
on-board first industry partner, Hindustan Unilever Limited, to provide
participants industry-specific insights and applications and mentorship.
The 22-week virtual
learning engagement will enable participants with digital marketing knowledge
as well as mentorship on strategic leadership skills. Avtar will facilitate
sessions on career intentionality, the tenets of which are critical to charting
sustainable careers. Senior leaders from Google will mentor the cohort, guiding
them through experiential segments including case study challenges. The
participants will go through sessions on core digital marketing skills and
strategies, that will be hosted by senior faculty from ISB.
With digital marketing
becoming a focus area in high growth companies today, DigiPivot enables the
diversity edge in the talent pursuits of these companies. With a holistic
approach towards skill building including equipping women with strategic
leadership tenets alongside core digital marketing skills, the program empowers
women to pivot careers more purposefully.
“Pandemic and now the
Great She-cession have left a deep impact on the employability of women not
only in India, but across the globe. While the Covid-19 Crisis has put a
temporary pause in increasing women’s workforce participation in India, it has
also presented us with a huge opportunity. When women professionals cut through
the career zigzag that often oscillates between careers and families, they need
certain skillsets for them to remain intentional in their careers. Only when
women professionals are made aware of those skills, transformation happens.
DigiPivot provides a perfect combination of technical knowledge & strategic
upskilling, to enable women reimagine upskilling and reshape the growth
narrative for the country.” said Dr Saundarya Rajesh, Founder – President of
Avtar Group commenting on the launch.
DigiPivot, is built on
the foundation of industry-academia partnership. The program has the potential
to enhance employability of women, generating entrepreneurs in large, Tier 2
and 3 cities.
Applications are open
from June 7, 2022, and the last date for registration at DigiPivot 2022 is July
10, 2022. Interested applicants can register at: https://dp.myavtar.com/
