Nirbhay channels his inner Bali with a 9kg Gadda in &TV’s Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram



An elaborate set, relevant props and stylish jewellery are the key elements that outline truth character played by an actor, especially if it's a mythological one. While some accessories simplify the challenges of an actor in playing the role, some end up to be challenges themselves. Television actor Nirbhay Wadhwa has been facing an identical challenge as he shoots for &TV’s upcoming mythological show, Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram. Essaying the fierce, evil and powerful character of Bali, the Vanar king of Kishkindha kingdom, Nirbhay has been employing a 9kg Gadda to depict his fight scenes. The prop that has been created using steel brings out the essential authentic and raw feel of the character. it's been customised to the character of Bali and is currently the sole heavy prop assigned to the actor.



While Nirbhay is familiar with heavy weights due to his rigorous gym routine, he still faces slight struggles with this prop. “I am wont to carrying heavy weights but managing the heavy Gadda comes as a struggle once I need to use it for the fight scenes and hit someone it. it's a difficult grip and that i need to ensure to stay my force and energy low so on not cause any damage or injury. Having said that I feel the prop helps bring out the strength and expressions of my character very evidently on-screen. we've been looking to exchange this one with a lighter version but till then i'm trying to accustom myself to the load .” commented Nirbhay.



&TV’s upcoming show Kahat Hanuman…Jai Shri Ram may be a captivating tale of Lord Hanuman which is about to require the viewers on a stimulating mythological journey of how Bal Hanuman eventually emerges because the greatest devotee of Lord Ram and manages to bring a successful end to Ravana’s reign of terror.
