THE MUMBAI FEST’ 2018- A first of its kind festival that you’ll wish would never end!

On the 26th, 27th and 28th January,  the history of Mumbai will be re-told through a never-before-seen set of seven islands of Art, Music and Dance, Central, Food, Bollywood, Heritage and Mumbaikars Island, spread across 2 lakh sq.ft on MMRDA grounds, BKC
 
Trustees present were Captain Avinash Singh, K.K Singh, Dr.Vinod Hasal, Pranav Awasthi, Harjeet Anand, and Amarnath Sharda As Mumbaikars start treading their paths for 2018, Mumbai holds in store, a milestone that will take the citizens over the moon. This January, a colossal event is making its way to this city. THE MUMBAI FEST’ 2018 will be a first of its kind festival that will celebrate the ‘ONE LOVE’ spirit of Aamchi Mumbai!



THE MUMBAI FEST’ 2018 flagged off with 30 vintage cars & 50 vintage bike rally in the presence of Rannvijay Singh followed by National Anthem and Flag Ceremony.The Guinness book of world record was set by Jash Sarode Spearheaded by Dr. Aneel Kashi Murarka of Ample MISSIION &  Guinness World Record & Limca Book Of Records holder Rishi Sarode of Roll Model Skaters.


Day 1  - Inaugural of "THE MUMBAI FEST’ 2018- A first of its kind festival that you’ll wish would never end! on the occasion of Republic day, with the Vintage bike and car rally flag off, Guinness book of the world record of Jeet Sarode for Inline Roller skating, Mika Singh's live in concert and Drum cafe interactive drumming to set the record with 2100 Drums.



The event saw the presence of lot of celebrities including Kiku Sharda, Padma Wadkar, Ranvijay, etc

The one thing that will characterize this colossal fest is the magnum opus set of seven islands.  This set will be designed by none other than the renowned art director NITIN KULKARNI who has worked on sets of several Bollywood Blockbusters!


EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
AN EXTRAVAGGANT CULTURAL PARADE
The Cultural Parade that will mark the beginning of the fest on the 26th January will commence with the symbolic outcry of the traditional Tutaris. The Parade promises to envelope Mumbai in its energy as the uproar of Dhol Tasha along with Drum Café come together with a vibrant display of Lezim, Garba, Gondhal, Bhangra, Giddaand many more cultural riches, with about 300 artists parading the venue!  


A GUINESS WORLD RECORD BY DRUM CAFÉ
We have with us the world’s number one interactive drumming company – DRUM CAFÉ.  Along with our true blue Mumbaikars Drum Café will attempt to create a Guinness world record by playing 2100 drums together at once! The Orchestration of the drumming is sure to pump up the energies in Mumbai!
